Food Insecurity

The challenge of ending hunger at the community and local levels is one that requires a collaborative approach. AFF supports our local food banks, wellness and community centers, religious affiliations, and community partnerships that work tirelessly to provide essentials to those in need.

  • Manna on Main Street
    Mission: Manna on Main Street is committed to ending hunger in the North Penn region by providing food, fulfilling social service and education needs, and conducting community outreach. Through a food pantry and soup kitchen, emergency financial aid, counseling and referrals, and education opportunities, we serve those in need with the hope “that everyone might be fed.”

  • Zubaida Foundation
    Mission: Community stewardship and charity is at the heart of the Muslim faith and a pillar of the religion. Zubaida Foundation community services program and food pantry in Yardley PA, serves a wide geographic area including Philadelphia, N.E. Philly, Bucks county, Atlantic City, Princeton, Ewing, and Trenton. Serving 125 families per month from its food distribution services and approximately 400 families per month at meal preparation and soup kitchens across the region. AFF supports the ongoing operational and capacity building needs of ZF.

    In late 2023 ZF will be breaking ground on a new 8,000 sqft community services building at which a new 2,000 square foot food pantry will be created to serve the growing needs of our neighbors.

  • Muslims Serve
    Mission: Muslims Serve is a hunger relief organization in Philadelphia. We are open to anyone who seeks food assistance no matter who they are.
