Disaster Relief

In the world today, disaster can strike at any moment. Whether it is natural disasters such as earthquakes or flooding, or strife and conflict- the foundation believes enabling organizations to provide immediate and rapid response resources to affected regions.

While the initial goal is to get those affected by natural calamities immediate assistance, the aspirational vision is to partner with organizations, particularly those who have resources in underdeveloped regions, to develop sustainable infrastructure that can endure through hardships.

  • Helping Hand for Relief and Development
    Mission: HHRD is a global humanitarian relief and development organization responding to human sufferings in emergency and disaster situations around the world. In addition to our emergency relief efforts in natural or man-made disasters, we also work on long term relief and development programs.

    AFF has funded numerous disaster relief efforts spearheaded by HHRD including the recent earthquake in Turkey and Syria as well as the massive flooding in Pakistan.

  • ROAR (Rising Over Adversity Relief)
    Mission: Spearheaded by Foundation member, Aemen Afzal, ROAR is a Grass roots effort to directly reach individuals affected by earthquakes, floods, sudden loss of breadwinner.
